ISTAT releases February consumer and business confidence data (0900 GMT).

Bank of Italy releases January data on Target 2 liabilities and European Central Bank funding to Italian banks.

DEBT

Treasury sells up to 6.5 billion euros in BTP bonds and up to 2.5 billion euros in CCTeu bonds. Subscriptions close at 1000 GMT.

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI

(*) The automaker said on Thursday it posted a net loss of 20.1 billion euros in the second half of 2025, after announcing earlier this month 22.2 billion euros of charges in the period as it scaled back its electric-vehicle ambitions.

(*) The Italian energy group said on Thursday its earnings rose 35% year on year in the fourth quarter driven by solid growth in its exploration and production division.

Eni's board approved on Wednesday a third tranche of its 2025 dividend of 0.26 euros per share.

POSTE ITALIANE PST.MI

(*) The state-backed financial conglomerate on Thursday said its net profit would rise slightly this year with revenue hitting a new record, after posting solid quarterly earnings and raising its dividend payout.

PRYSMIAN PRY.MI

(*) The Italian cable maker reported a 20% rise in its fourth-quarter adjusted core profit on Thursday, slightly below market expectations, driven mainly by strong margin expansion in its transmission business.

Italy's main state-controlled companies have performed "very well" in recent years, a key ally of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said, hinting their chief executives were poised to get fresh mandates as a new round of appointments looms.

CEOs at companies including the two energy majors and the defence group are due to be nominated in the next weeks, in what is traditionally seen as a test for political leaders seeking to assert their influence over key sectors of the economy.

LEONARDO LDOF.MI

The Italian defence group expects to sign a joint-venture accord for its aerostructures unit by the end of June, its CEO said on Wednesday, in a protracted deal that could finally allow the loss-making unit to take off.

The Italian energy servicer said on Wednesday it would not be able to complete the planned acquisition of the Deep Value Driller AS' drilling unit after the seller chose another buyer.

Alphavalue said on Thursday it had raised its rating on the Italian cement company to 'add' from 'reduce'.

Galatasaray were beaten 3-2 at the Italian soccer club on Wednesday but reached the last 16 of the Champions League 7-5 on aggregate thanks to two extra-time goals after the hosts came agonisingly close to pulling off a great escape despite playing with 10 men.
