ZURICH/BERLIN, Aug 21(Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Friday:
    
    Novartis  NOVN.S 
    Novartis on Thursday won U.S. Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) approval to repurpose an 11-year-old blood cancer drug
against multiple sclerosis as the Swiss drugmaker takes on rival
Roche's ROG.S big-selling Ocrevus for the autoimmune disorder.

    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    * EMS Chemie Holding  EMSN.S  reported a net operating
income (EBIT) of 227 million Sfr and an EBIT margin of 26.8% in

    * Bachem Holding AG  BANB.S  posted a 31.7% increase in
sales to 177.1 million Sfr in the first half of 2020.

13.2 million Sfr in the first half of the year compared to 19.7
