Regarding statements about the danger of an extensive power shortage during the summer period, PPC comments that, as far as the company is concerned, the existing generation capacity is more than adequate in order to meet demand. Besides, except Unit 4 of Kardia Power Plant which is out of operation due to failure, all other PPC S.A. units are available, as in previews years, and lignite reserves for thesupply of lignite units are sufficient.
