** Chinese sportswear maker Anta Sports Products 2020.HK is among firms exploring a potential takeover of Puma, Bloomberg News reported

** Puma declined to comment

** "Warming up a story that already emerged in August this year (share price that time also was around current levels)," the local trader says, expecting the shares to rise on Thursday

** Puma is seen at the top of German midcap index .MDAXI
