** Shares of Queensland Pacific Metals  QPM.AX  rise as much
as 9.1% to A$0.036; set to gain most since May 20, if current
gains hold
    ** Green nickel producer says it has been awarded A$8
million ($5.40 million) grant from the Australian Federal
Government under the International Partnerships in Critical
Minerals program
    ** Stock is down 40% this year, as of last close
