Qualcomm up, report says SpaceX may use Snapdragon chipset in potential AI device

** SpaceX SPCX.O has developed a prototype for a handset-like device designed to reshape how humans interact with AI that SPCX has shown investors recently, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter
** The device would use a QCOM Snapdragon chipset - report
** The prototype was designed to run on a proprietary operating system and integrate AI technology from xAI - report
** SPCX told some investors the project was at an early stage - report
** The design could change and it is unclear whether such a device will be made - report
** SpaceX and QCOM did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment
** Shares of SPCX down 7.1% at $158.79
** As of last close, QCOM up ~8% this year
