** Shares of quantum computing stocks surge premarket after
Microsoft  MSFT.O  launches new quantum chip on Wednesday
    ** Rigetti Computing  RGTI.O  up 9%, D-Wave Quantum  QBTS.N 
gains 8.9%, Quantum Corp  QMCO.O  up 5.5%, Quantum Computing
 QUBT.O  climbs 10.2% and IonQ  IONQ.N  rises 5.1%
    ** MSFT shares rise 1.02%
    ** MSFT unveiled a new chip that it said shows quantum
computing is "years, not decades" away, joining Google and IBM
in predicting that a fundamental change in computing technology
is much closer than recently believed
    ** MSFT says the Majorana 1 chip it has developed is less
prone to errors than rivals
    ** Last month, MSFT said 2025 is the year to become
"quantum-ready" in a blog post
    ** In 2024, QMCO shares gained 672.5%, QUBT above 1700% and
RGTI over 1400%
