Aberdeen and Quilter shares rise on flows ahead of market view

** British money managers Aberdeen Group ABDN.L up 2.2% at 220p, Quilter QLT.L up 4% at 195p

** QLT among top gainers on FTSE midcaps .FTMC index, which is up 0.26%

** ABDN posts net outflows of 3.9 billion pounds  ($5.24 billion), better than JPM and Jefferies expectations

** Quilter logs record net inflows of 2.3 billion pounds in Q4, ahead of Panmure Liberum analysts' expectations of 1.5 billion pounds

** QLT managed-assets at 141.2 billion pounds, up 18% YoY, while ABDN's came at 556.0 billion pounds, up 9% YoY in 2025

** In 2025, ABDN stock up ~46% and QLT up ~20%
