 Wall Street benchmarks bounced higher on Thursday, driven by gains in
technology, financial and industrials stocks as investors hoped that lower U.S.
taxes could boost first quarter corporate profits.  .N 
    
At 11:28 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.26 percent at
24,493.96. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.97 percent at 2,667.73 and the Nasdaq
