U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday, led by gains in Apple and Amazon, as investors
judged the latest tit-for-tat tariffs between the United States and China as
less damaging than expected. .N
At 12:45 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.61 percent at
26,221.18. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.59 percent at 2,905.8 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was up 0.88 percent at 7,964.915.
