TUSK ON UKRAINE
Ukraine, Europe and the United States should work together
to bring about a just peace in Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister
Donald Tusk said on Wednesday in a post on X, after U.S.
President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir
Putin about starting negotiations immediately to end the war in
Ukraine.
TALGO
Future investor in Spanish high-speed train maker Talgo
TLGO.MC must ensure employment and production will be kept in
Spain while providing the company with technological growth,
Spain's Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo told Rzeczpospolita
daily. Meanwhile, Poland's state-owned investment fund PFR
hasn't submitted a binding bid for Talgo, Cuerpo said.
ARCELORMITTAL POLAND
ArcelorMittal Poland, which controls nearly 50% of Poland's
steel production capacity, is planning to invest in developing
new products, lower carbon intensity and its own solar power
plants to cover rising energy demand amid high electricity
prices, head of ArcelorMittal Poland Wojciech Koszuta was quoted
as saying by Puls Biznesu daily.
BGK FUNDS
Vinci, a unit of state-owned Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego
(BGK), overseeing 3 venture capital funds, plans to invest about
850 million zloty ($213.33 million) over the next three to five
years, BGK management board member Jaroslaw Dabrowski was quoted
as saying by Puls Biznesu.
