** Shares of Ramaco Resources METC.O up 1.6% at $9.71 premarket

** Co says it has received $6.1 million matching grant authorized by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and issued by Wyoming Energy Authority

** METC says grant is for its Wyoming CORE (Carbon Ore Rare Earth) Brook Mine project

** Adds funding will match its future investment in constructing and equipping rare earth and critical minerals pilot processing facility north of Sheridan, Wyoming

** Up to last close, shares down 5.4% YTD
