** Shares of oilfield services company Ranger Energy Services RNGR.N fall nearly 3% at $13.34 premarket

** RNGR posts Q3 net income of $1.2 million, compared with $8.7 million a year ago
** Company posts Q3 revenue of $128.9 million, a nearly 16% decrease from last year

** RNGR on Monday says it has acquired Permian Basin-focused American Well Services for about $90.5 million in a cash-and-stock deal
** Up to last close, shares down 11.2% YTD
