Directorate change
 
The Rank Group Plc (LSE: RNK) ("Rank" or "the Company") announces that Alan Morgan, Managing Director Retail, has tendered his resignation to the board and will be leaving the business on 31 July 2019 to pursue other opportunities. Alan joined Rank in 2016 to run Mecca's retail business and progressed to lead the Group's UK Retail division in 2017.
 
Alan's day to day responsibilities will be assumed by the Chief Executive and the search for Alan's successor will begin immediately. The Company will provide an update as and when appropriate.
 
John O'Reilly, Chief Executive of The Rank Group Plc, said:
 
"I would like to thank Alan for all of his hard work in our retail businesses over the last three years. He has been instrumental in leading the transformation plan across the division and he leaves Rank with our best wishes for the future."
 
Alan Morgan commented:
