- Notification of Major Interest in Shares
Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad
On 28 July 2015, Rank received notification from Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad ("Hong Leong Co") that, consequent upon an internal shareholding consolidation exercise, Asian Financial Common Wealth (PTC) Limited transferred its holding of 1,087,252 shares to Rank Assets Limited on 29 June 2015.
There has been no change to Hong Leong Co's overall interest in the voting rights in Rank and it continues to be interested in the voting rights attached to 219,120,221 ordinary 138/9p shares representing 56.09% of the total voting rights in Rank.
Notes
The voting rights are held by Rank Assets Limited ("RAL") and Guoline Overseas Limited ("GOL") which hold 203,289,921 and 15,830,300 shares respectively. RAL is a controlled undertaking of Guoco Group Limited ("GGL") which is a controlled undertaking of GOL. GOL is a controlled undertaking of GuoLine Capital Assets Limited which is a controlled undertaking of Hong Leong Co.
