RC FORNAX PLC
("RC Fornax" or the "Company")
RC Fornax CEO, Paul Reeves, Named Finalist in 2025 British Forces in Business
Awards
RC Fornax plc (AIM:RCFX), the UK-based, highly accredited engineering
consultancy providing high-impact work package solutions for critical military
platforms, is pleased to announce that its CEO and Co-Founder, Paul Reeves,
has been named a finalist in the prestigious 2025 British Forces in Business
Awards (http://www.forcesinbusiness.com) (the "Awards").
The Awards are the world's largest celebration of veterans in business and
shine a spotlight on the exceptional achievements of veterans and reservists
who have successfully transitioned into the civilian workforce. The programme
has played a transformative role in breaking down barriers, challenging
stereotypes, and providing a high-profile platform for role models across
every corner of the UK economy.
The 2025 Awards saw a record-breaking number of nominations, with finalists
selected for their impact, innovation, and leadership beyond service. Paul has
been recognised for rapidly growing RC Fornax, and providing specialist
engineering design and delivery solutions under Statements of Work to support
complex defence programmes. The nomination as a finalist underscores the
importance of veteran leadership and innovation in today's defence industry.
Paul Reeves, Chief Executive Officer of RC Fornax, commented:
"It's a real honour to be recognised among such inspiring members of the Armed
Forces community. This nomination is a testament to the exceptional team at RC
Fornax and our shared belief in building a smarter, more agile approach to
defence delivery.
"This announcement comes at a time when we're encouraged to see the
government's recent commitment to backing SMEs in defence - including reforms
to speed up procurement and promote investment in innovation. As Minister John
Healey rightly said, a military is only as strong as the industry behind it.
Veteran-founded SMEs such as RC Fornax stand ready to answer that call, and we
welcome the Ministry of Defence's Action Plan to ensure SMEs comprise over 25%
of annual spend. It's vital that small, specialist firms are empowered to
bring forward new thinking, new technologies, and engineering outcomes that
keep Britain at the forefront of global defence capability."
Ben Rossi, Founder of the global Forces in Business Awards series, commented:
"The British Forces in Business Awards have become a beacon for exceptional
talent, showing that supporting the Armed Forces community is not just good
ethics - it's smart business. The calibre of this year's nominations has been
nothing short of extraordinary, and the stories behind them prove just how
impactful veterans can be in every corner of our economy.
"Supporting the transition of service members into meaningful second careers
isn't a charitable cause, a PR exercise or a CSR box-tick. It's a proven
strategy for unlocking and accessing exceptional talent. This year's finalists
are not only high achievers - they are powerful role models for others
treading the same daunting path that they once did."
