The CMA has reasonable grounds to believe that the Parties will complete the
Merger following a court-approved scheme of arrangement between Redrow plc
(Redrow) and Redrow's shareholders under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006.
Therefore, on 20 August 2024, the CMA served an initial enforcement order
under section 72(2) of the Enterprise Act 2002 on Barratt Developments plc and
Redrow in relation to the anticipated acquisition of Redrow plc by Barratt
Developments plc. The initial enforcement order will take effect upon
completion of the Merger.
