** Shares of Regal Partners Ltd RPL.AX rise as much as 5.2% to A$3.05, their highest since March 10

** Bell Potter increases EPS outlook estimate for alternative investment manager by 2.1% for fiscal 2025

** Bell Potter upbeat on Regal's quarterly update, says funds under management (FUM) of A$17.7 billion ($11.63 billion) ahead of brokerage estimate of A$17.1 billion

** Calls update a "positive announcement," with a rapid rebound for co in terms of FUM, management fees and potential for future performance fees

** Brokerage retains "buy" call, target price A$3.55

** Stock down 19.2% YTD, including the day's moves
