Wall Street's main stock indexes rose on Monday, rebounding from a week of steep
losses as focus shifted back to the extent of interest rate cuts by the Federal
Reserve in 2024 and the crucial inflation report later in the week.  .N 
    
    At 13:38 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.4% to
$40,921.1. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.30% at 5,478.76 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.33% at 16,912.04.
