Wall Street's benchmark indexes rose on Monday, rebounding from a week of heavy
losses as investors remained optimistic about a soft landing scenario for the
U.S. economy ahead of a crucial inflation report later in the week.  .N 
    
    At 11:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.4% at
40,897.45. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.87% at 5,455.41 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.31% at 16,741.743.
