UK's RELX rises after posting annual profit growth

** Shares of British information group RELX REL.L rise 4.2% to 2,097 pence; second biggest pct gainer on FTSE 100 index .FTSE

** Posts 9% rise in 2025 operating profit at 3.34 billion pounds ($4.55 billion), revenue up 7% at 9.59 billion pounds

** REL says AI will drive growth for "many years"

** Says it was developing and launching products with embedded AI at a faster pace, while continuing to grow its top line ahead of its costs

** Stock fell 16.8% in 2025, while FTSE 100 gained 21.5%
