Transactions in own shares
RELX PLC announces that today, it purchased (through J.P. Morgan Securities plc)52,900 RELX PLC ordinary shares at a price of 1102.5644p per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, RELX PLC holds 84,914,335 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 1,121,535,723 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). Since 2 January 2015 RELX PLC has purchased 15,216,000 shares.
RELX NV announces that today, it purchased (through J.P. Morgan Securities plc)47,100 RELX NV ordinary shares at a price of 14.9431 per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.Following the above purchase, RELX NV holds 49,366,494 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 997,977,767 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). Since 2 January 2015 RELX NV has purchased 8,067,950 shares.
