French economy resisting in face of US tariff pressure, says finance minister

PARIS, July 30 (Reuters) - France's preliminary second quarter GDP growth of 0.3% shows the economy is putting up a resistance in the face of pressures from the framework trade tariffs deal between the European Union and U.S., finance minister Eric Lombard said. "This 0.3 percent shows we are resisting relatively well, given the situation," Lombard told RTL Radio on Wednesday.
