**Shares in Remy Cointreau RCOP.PA rise close to 7%; analysts point to "slightly positive" comments from a pre-close Q3 management call held earlier on Thursday

** Bernstein says US sell-ins were "slightly up" in Q3, an improvement on H1, with the French spirits maker meeting its internal targets for the region despite a decelerating market

 ** It also notes "underlying trends in China are slightly positive" with duty-free now fully operational, even if a late Chinese New Year is expected to create an 8-million-euro ($9.3 million) headwind

** The EMEA region is likely to be slightly positive for cognac, liqueurs and spirits divisions, boosted by a very special label re-launch in South Africa and growth in Western Europe

** Shares, which top France's SBF 120 index .SBF120, are on track for their best day since late-July
