Defence companies fall in Europe on Trump-Putin meeting plans

** Shares in European arms makers fall on Friday, with news of a planned next summit between U.S President Donald Trump and with Russian President Vladimir Putin tampering YTD gains

** An index of aerospace and defence companies .SXPARO is down around 3%, after notching up 64% gains up to Thursday's close

** German defence companies Rheinmetall RHMG.DE, Renk R3NK.DE and Hensoldt HAGG.DE are down between 3% and 6%

** BAE Systems BAES.L, Babcock BAB.L, Chemring Group CHG.L are down 3-4%

** Italy's Leondardo LDOF.MI, France's Thales TCFP.PA, Sweden's SAAB SAABb.ST slide between 3% and 3.5%
