European arms makers stumble on Ukraine peace push

Nov 21 (Reuters) - Shares in European defence names moved lower on Friday after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he was ready for "honest" work on U.S.-backed plan to end the war.

The STOXX Aerospace and Defence Index .SXPARO was down by 2.3% at 0808 GMT, to its lowest since early September.

Shares in Germany's Hensoldt HAGG.DE, Renk R3NK.DE, Rheinmetall RHMG.DE were down between around 5% and 8%.

Italy's Leonardo LDOF.MI, Sweden's Saab SAABb.ST slipped between around 3% and 4%.
