** European defence stocks fall, pulling down the European aerospace and defence index .SXPARO, amid talks of a potential peace deal ending the war in Ukraine

** Ukraine could receive security guarantees modelled on NATO’s Article 5 mutual defence pledge under a proposed peace deal with Russia, U.S. officials said on Monday

** Shares in Indra IDR.MC, Rheinmetall RHMG.DE, Hensodlt HAGG.DE, Renk R3NK.DE, Saab SAABb.ST and  Leonardo LDOF.MI are among the biggest fallers on the pan-European STOXX 600 .STOXX index, with losses ranging from 3% to 5%
