European defence stocks up after Putin-Trump summit on hold

** European defence stocks edge up after a planned summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was put on hold as Russia rejects immediate ceasefire in Ukraine

** STOXX aerospace and defence index .SXPARO rises 1%, which has gained 66.4% YTD including today's session

** Germany's Rheinmetall RHMG.DE, Hensoldt HAGG.DE and Renk R3NK.DE are up between 2.8% and 5.5%

** Spain's Indra Sistemas IDR.MC and France's Thales TCFP.PA rise 1.3% and 1.7%, respectively

** Norway's Kongsberg KOG.OL and Italy's Leonardo LDOF.MI are up 1.3% and 2.3%, respectively

** Britian's BAE System BAES.L and Babcock International BAB.L rise 1.3% and 2.1%
