Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Rentokil Initial plc (FTSE: RTO) today announces the appointment of Dr Linda Yueh to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 November 2017. Linda will also become a member of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee from this date.
Linda isFellow in Economics atSt Edmund Hall,Oxford University, and Adjunct Professor of Economics atthe London Business School. She is alsoVisiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science's foreign policy think tank, theIDEASresearch centre, and was Visiting Professor of Economics at Peking University.
She alsoserves on the Policy Committee of the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics,and ontheAdvisory Board of The Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum.
Previously, she has been an advisor to the World Bank, the European Commission, the Asian Development Bank, the World Economic Forum at Davos, and the British Chambers of Commerce, among others. She has served as a Non-Executive Director of the FTSE-listed companies: JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust and Bailie Gifford's Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust. She spent her early career years as a lawyer in New York with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison.
