Rezolute soars as eye disease drug meets main goal of mid-stage study

** Shares of drug developer Rezolute Inc RZLT.O soars 60%
to $4.80 in extended trading
** Co says its experimental drug to treat a type of eye
disease met the main goal of a mid-stage study
** RZLT is testing the drug, RZ402, in both untreated
patients and those that have received limited treatment
** Co says the drug helped in reducing the swelling of the
retina which can cause blurry vision or loss of vision
** Says the drug was safe and well tolerated, with three
participants experiencing serious adverse events which were
found to be unrelated to the study therapy
** Stock more than tripled YTD
