U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Wednesday after hawkish comments from
Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell fueled a selloff on Wall Street a day
earlier, stoking concerns about a sharp recession and putting focus on the
upcoming labor market data.  .N 
    
    At 7:09 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.09% at 32,892. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.11% at 3,994, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.20% at
12,192.75.
