Appointment of Director

 

The Board of River and Mercantile UK Micro Cap Investment Company Limited
("RMMC"), is pleased to announce that John Blowers will join the Board of RMMC
as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

 

John will be replacing Trudi Clark who is stepping down from the Board in
March 2023, in compliance with the requirements of the AIC Code of Corporate
Governance which states that independent directors should not serve on boards
for more than nine years.

 

With a career in the financial services industry spanning over 28 years, John
has worked in a range of senior roles, and has built up an extensive knowledge
of digital investment management, retirement planning, marketing, distribution
and transactional platform development. John has also been involved in leading
the development of a series of retail online investment propositions and has
worked in both entrepreneurial start-ups and major blue-chip organisations in
the UK and abroad.

 

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Chapman, Chairman of RMMC said: "The
Board is delighted to welcome John to the River and Mercantile UK Micro Cap
Investment Company as a non-executive director. John's depth of knowledge and
experience will be invaluable as we focus on continuing to deliver a strong,
