    ECONOMY
    Italy's head of debt said on Friday that market volatility
may push the country's borrowing costs slightly higher this

    Bank of Italy releases March data on public finances, state
borrowing and debt.
    
    DEBT
    Italy may offer a new green BTP, or sustainable government
bond, in the second half of the year, probably after tapping the
2045 outstanding note via auction, the country's head of debt
said on Friday. It will be longer than ten- but possibly shorter

    The Italian bank and Citigroup  C.N  are exploring asset
swaps with Russian financial institutions as western banks
trying to avoid heavy writedowns as they exit Russia, the

    ATLANTIA  ATL.MI 
    The Benetton family and U.S. fund Blackstone  BX.N  have
notified the Italian government about their takeover offer for
Atlantia to secure Rome's green light before its launch, two
sources with knowledge of the matter said on Friday.

    The Italian infrastructure group is ready to consider any
sale process of airports and can finance acquisitions in its
core business through capital hikes in the medium term, CEO
Carlo Bertazzo told Milano Finanza on Saturday. He said the
closing of the acquisition of Siemens'  SIEGn.DE  Yunex Traffic
division was expected before summer and a new industrial plan
would be unveiled by the end of 2022. Spanish builder ACS
 ACS.MC  is an important investor in Atlantia's unit Abertis,
Bertazzo said.
    
    ENEL  ENEI.MI 
    Europe's biggest utility aims to sell up to 50% of its grid
services business dubbed Gridspertise. It has sent invitations
to investors asking them to express interest in the company, Il
Sole 24 Ore reported on Sunday, adding Enel dropped plans for an
IPO of its division. Enel aims to find an industrial partner for
Gridspertise by the end of the year, the company's head of
Global Infrastructure and Networks Antonio Cammisecra said as
quoted by Il Sole 24 Ore. 
    
    TELECOM ITALIA  TLIT.MI 
    The former phone monopoly has signed a commercial agreement
with Open Fiber to provide the rival broadband network company
with access to its infrastructure to speed up the rollout of
fibre in the more remote parts of Italy, the companies said on

    The Italian energy group will begin the process of opening
an account in roubles next week to pay for Russian gas unless it
is told that would breach sanctions, three sources close to the

    The Chairman of Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC)
Mustafa Sanalla was quoted as saying on Saturday by Italian
newspapers he would meet Eni Chief Executive Claudio Descalzi
soon in Rome. Eni plans to invest 5 billion euros in Libya,
mostly in offshore gas projects, he added.

    Shares in Italy's Unipol Gruppo fell 8% on Friday after the
company, whose core business is insurance, set out plans to
invest 500 million euros ($519 million) in technology and to
build up its bancassurance business over the next three years.

    S&P global rating has revised the company's outlook to

    Italian watchdog Consob suspended its review of the
voluntary tender and exchange offer on the whole share capital
of the real estate company announced by Qatar Holding, asking
for further information over the deal, the bidder said on

    Turin, Intesa Sanpaolo  ISP.MI  holds inauguration ceremony
