August 14 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were largely muted in choppy trading on Friday, a day after the S&P 500 closed at a record high, while investors assessed retail sales data and took stock of the latest developments in the Middle East.  .N
     
At  1130 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.20% at 53,733.41. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.19% at 7,784.92, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.44% at 26,685.80.
