Result of General Meeting
Proposed Acquisition
On 24 February 2017, RM published its shareholder circular (containing the notice of General Meeting) (the "Circular") in connection with the proposed acquisition of the Education & Care business of Connect Group PLC (the "Acquisition").
RM announces that, at the General Meeting held earlier today, the Resolution to approve the Acquisition was duly passed on a show of hands.
The proxy figures for the Resolution will be displayed on the Company's website (www.rmplc.com) shortly.
Completion of the Acquisition remains conditional upon the receipt of Clearance from the CMA. A further announcement will be made following the outcome of the CMA's Phase 1 review.
Capitalised terms used in the Circular shall have the same meanings in this announcement.
