The Nasdaq Composite index  .IXIC  slid on Monday as technology
shares fell in the run up to earnings from tech companies, which
will test the impact of trade tensions on global growth, and
ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy-setting meeting. .N 
    At 11:07 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI 
was up 0.17% at 27,239.04. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.21% at
3,019.59 and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.69% at
8,272.719.
