its annual land approval target as the company takes a more defensive stance amid renewed cost pressures and interest rate uncertainty tied to the Middle East conflict.

its first‑quarter net fee income dipped 2%, as weak hiring in European markets offset growth in Japan, Spain and the Americas.
* SAGA: Saga SAGA.L
reported
a 19% rise in annual profit, driven by booming demand for its travel business and the restructuring of the firm's insurance operations.
* STANDARD LIFE: Aegon AEGN.AS has agreed to
sell
its UK insurance business to Standard Life SDLF.L for 2 billion pounds, the Dutch insurer said.
