** Shares of drug developer Roivant Sciences ROIV.O rise 14.3% to $32.23
** Co says early-stage data showed its experimental drug, IMVT-1402, reduced symptoms in patients with difficult-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis (D2T RA), an autoimmune condition that causes joint pain and swelling
** Says among 165 evaluable patients, 72.7% of patients showed a ≥ 20% improvement from baseline in tender joint count and swollen joint count, while 54.5% and 35.8% showed higher responses
** Cantor Fitzgerald says the responses "are meaningfully better than any benchmark in this highly refractory rheumatoid arthritis setting"
** Leerink Partners says "We thus see the potential for IMVT-1402 to become a blockbuster in D2T RA given its differentiated mechanism and compelling efficacy in patients who have failed multiple prior therapies"
** ROIV expects to provide further updates on the program in the second half of 2026
** Including session's move, ROIV up 47.8% YTD
