Rollins beats first-quarter estimates on demand for pest control services

April 22 (Reuters) - Rollins ROL.N beat Wall Street estimates for first-quarter revenue and earnings on Wednesday, benefiting from robust demand for its pest control services.

The company said it benefited from gains across its business including protection against termite damage, rodents and other insects, even at a time when broader economic uncertainty strained household budgets.

"Peak season is off to a good start," CEO Jerry Gahlhoff said.

Strong acceleration of demand during March drove improvement in organic growth, the company said.

The company reported revenue of $906 million for the first quarter ended March 31, beating analysts' average estimate of $894.6 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.

It reported organic revenue growth of 6.6%, compared with a 7.4% rise last year.

Quarterly adjusted profit came in line with estimates of 24 cents.
