Royal Bank of Canada quarterly profit rises on capital markets strength
Dec 3 (Reuters) - Royal Bank of Canada RY.TO reported a rise in fourth quarter profit on Wednesday, as the Canadian lender was helped by strength in its capital markets segment. The bank reported adjusted net income of C$5.55 billion, or C$3.85 per share, for the three months ended October 31, compared with C$4.44 billion, or C$3.07 per share, in the year-ago period.
