Wall Street's main indexes drifted lower on Thursday, weighed down by a drop in
shares of Cisco and Walmart following underwhelming forecasts, while optimism
around peaking interest rates faded.  .N 
    
    At 10:44 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.30% at
34,887.11. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.15% at 4,496.24 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.28% at 14,064.68.
