UPDATE 1-Energy distributor Rubis lifts 2026 core profit guidance Adds previous EBITDA guidance in paragraph 2, details on H1 results in bullet point summary.
Sept 8 (Reuters) - French energy distributor Rubis RUBF.PA lifted its 2026 core profit guidance on Tuesday after the metric grew 18% across regions to €434 million ($504.5 million) in the first half of the year, aided by stock management amid volatile and high oil prices.
It now sees earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation of between €775 million and €825 million this year, instead of the previously guided €740 million to €790 million.
First-half revenue climbed 24% to €4.07 billion.
Adjusted cash flow from operating activities fell 19% to €223 million due to higher working capital requirements amid elevated oil prices.
The adjusted cash flow excludes a €64 million Corsica-related fine paid to France's competition authority.
Bitumen volumes grew 44% in the first half, driving strong gross margin growth, supported by expansion in Africa and a new platform in Northwest Europe.
Photosol installed capacity grew 32% to 799 megawatts peak after full commissioning of the Creil solar plant, with electricity production up 28% to 343 gigawatt hours.
