** U.S. financial software provider MeridianLink said it would be acquired by investment firm Centerbridge Partners in a $2 billion deal, taking it private roughly four years after its New York debut.

** Global energy and commodities trader Hartree Partners is in talks to acquire French agro-industrial firm Touton, which trades nearly 10% of the world's cocoa, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters.

** Singapore's Keppel is selling its 83.9% stake in subsidiary M1 Ltd to Simba Telecom while retaining the non-telecoms operations of its unit in a deal that will give the asset manager net cash of S$1 billion ($778.15 million).
