** Shares of video-sharing platform and cloud services provider Rumble RUM.O rise 3.2% to $9.7, set to extend gains to a sixth straight session if gains hold

** RUM is the #1 trending ticker on retail investor forum and social media platform Stocktwits

** Several posts say RUM might be experiencing a 'short squeeze' - a situation where prices rise as investors betting against a stock close their positions to limit their losses

** As of Monday's close, RUM had a market cap of $3.17 bln and of the nearly 339 million shares outstanding, only 89.2 million are traded on free-float basis, as per LSEG data; short interest last stood at 4.6% of free float

** RUM was recently added to a preliminary list of additions to the FTSE Russell 3000 .RUA index; next update expected on June 20

** Including session gains, RUM down about 28% YTD
