Ryanair's O'Leary accuses UK air traffic control boss of lying over outage cause
Ryanair's O'Leary accuses UK air traffic control boss of lying over outage cause DUBLIN, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary on Thursday accused the boss of Britain's air traffic control system operator of lying over the cause of an outage that caused hundreds of flights to be cancelled earlier this week.
O'Leary said Ryanair had been told by operator NATS that the outage was caused by a rogue flight plan - the same problem that caused a meltdown in 2023.
NATS, responding to an earlier similar statement from O'Leary, on Wednesday said the latest outage had been caused by a different issue.
