Ryanair CEO says airline's fares may rise slightly this winter DUBLIN, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said the airline's fares may rise slightly this winter but he is reasonably hopeful they will be "flat-ish" following a mild upturn in the last month and the airline's decision to cut some winter flights.
"In the last month there's been a slight upturn in fares, nothing significant, but we think there's a possibility towards the end of the year that fares will be flat-ish through the winter," O'Leary told a news conference.
"A lot depends on what happens to oil prices for the next five or six months... But I would be reasonably hopeful that pricing will be flat-ish, maybe even slightly positive in the second half of the year."
