- Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.


* STHREE: Recruiting firm SThree STEMS.L reported a 7% decline in first-half net fees, as weaker hiring activity in Europe outweighed strong U.S. growth, and reiterated its fiscal 2026 outlook with "cautious optimism".

* RATHBONES: Wealth manager Rathbones RAT.L said it will pause onboarding new clients who require enhanced due diligence for at least twelve months after a review of its UK Wealth Management business it undertook with the financial regulator.

* ABF-HOVIS DEAL: Britain's competition watchdog cleared Associated British Foods' ABF.L acquisition of rival Hovis, after finding that ABF's bakery division would likely exit the market entirely if the deal did not proceed.
* IWG: Office rental firm International Workplace Group IWG.L appointed its founder and current CEO, Mark Dixon, as the executive chair of the company, while promoting insider Christian Schmitz as CEO.

* THAMES: Britain's environment minister Emma Reynolds has raised concerns to water regulator Ofwat that customers will lose out in a proposed £10 billion rescue package for utility Thames Water, The Times reported.

* COMMODITIES: Oil prices extended losses, Copper slipped and Gold prices edged higher on Tuesday as Middle East uncertainties still lingered despite a preliminary U.S.-Iran deal.

* FTSE: UK stocks edged higher on Monday as global risk sentiment received a boost after the United States and Iran reached a preliminary peace agreement.
