** Shares in Safilo SFLG.MI rise as much as 7.3% after the
Italian eyewear maker posted a rise in Q4 sales
** The Padua-base company reported Q4 net sales at 238.7
million euros ($258.35 million), up 1.7% y/y at constant
exchange rates, which marks the best quarterly growth in net
sales over last year
** "The fourth quarter results show an improving trend in
the last few months of the year," a Milan-based trader says
** At 1113 GMT, the stock trades up 6.2%, outperforming
Italy's All-Share index .FTITLMS which rises 0.7%
