Safran CEO says MTU military engine venture funded until September PARIS, July 28 (Reuters) - The head of France's maker Safran SAF.PA said on Tuesday its fighter-engine venture with Germany's MTU Aero Engines is funded until September and its future will depend on the path of future projects following the collapse of a Franco-German fighter.
CEO Olivier Andries said Safran could not commit to two entirely different next-generation military engines and would give priority to France's military development requirements.
