The Sage Group plc 
The Sage Group plc ("Sage") is pleased to announce the appointment of D. Blair Crump to its Board as an Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2018. 
Mr Crump joined Sage in August 2016 in the newly-created position of President, leading on go-to-market functions of sales and customer service across the Group. As a member of the Board of Directors, Blair will bring his significant sales and customer service leadership experience gained in the technology sector whilst working in prior roles as Chief Operation Officer for Texas-based PROS Holdings, leader of Salesforce.com's Global Enterprise business and Group President at Verizon Business. Blair will continue to be based out of Sage's offices in the USA.
Donald Brydon, the Chairman of the Sage Board, said: "We are delighted to welcome Blair to the Board. In his role as President, Blair plays an integral part in the leadership of the business and his commercial insights will add further depth to our Board discussions."
There are no further disclosures required for the purposes of Listing Rule 9.6.13.
